Undergraduate Studies
The undergraduate studies program in the School of Mechanical Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology is designed to prepare students to become professional mechanical engineers who are capable of working at different relevant industries or follow the graduate studies in mechanical engineering. The coursework offered in the undergraduate studies program includes the main topics in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on fundamental analytical skills for solving practical problems. However, the experimental and research talents of the students are also improved through the various educational and research lab works offered.
The undergraduate program in the School of Mechanical Engineering is only presented in Persian. Therefore, the international students interested to pursue their undergraduate studies in our school need to take the Persian courses first and then apply to the undergraduate program in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology. The international undergraduate students are generally accepted through the cooperation between the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and that of other countries. Graduate Studies
The graduate students in the School of Mechanical Engineering of Iran University of Science and Technology are involved in world-class educational and research activities under five general fields of research given by the solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, production and manufacturing, biomechanics, and aerospace engineering groups. Research based international Master’s and PhD students are currently accepted to the solid mechanics and fluid mechanics programs, which are given in English.
