Super Cavitation Flow Simulation
The cavitation of the liquid-vapor phase change is due to the reduction of local pressure due to high local velocity. Cavitation causes bubbles to form at low pressure points. The transfer of these bubbles by the fluid flow to the high pressure points causes the bubbles to collapse, which eventually causes noise. Achieving a suitable model in simulating cavitation-induced sound waves is very important in order to identify and control this phenomenon. Because acoustic sound is part of the flow dynamics, the equations of mass, momentum and energy survival are known as the basic equations in the analysis of the acoustic behavior of cavitation and supercavitation.
